WOW -- "MarketPlace on Main" opened this week 12 major mini artisan stores are taking a risk to make retail in small towns feasible-- and here we are --FACETS, the first one on board to TAKE THE RISK -- a new "Scrapbooking Store" that is soooo different than anything else.
I have had to explain to a few friends that SCRAPBOOKING-- really means paper crafting -- because it is card making, scrapbooking, altering home decor. There are so many ways to use paper and all the tools. None of us will ever know it all. So much is out there-- and new techniques and tools everyday.
ABOUT OUR NAME:
You might ask, why did we name a business FACETS. What does it mean. There are lots of reasons I wanted the name FACETS-- Dewey and I had that name for our business years ago -- and it seemed so appropriate -- because there are so many "FACETS of Jo". Whatever I do, I do with a PASSION -- and with all my heart and soul -- whether it be making software for children with severe disabilities (SoftTouch.com) or horses (Socks, Ellie, and Fanny + many many more), or having a wonderful time with paper and keeping your memories --(FACETS of Cardmakng -- facetsofcardmaking.blogspot.com or now an extension FACETSofPaper.blogspot.com.
